Also, I wanted to let you all know that Datapresser has been getting a bit too popular lately, and we’ve had to make some changes to the number of people we can let access the service. For now, we have discontinued the Unlimited Plan, because a number of you (you know who you are!) have been going hog-wild with your blog farms. It’s likely that we’ll be discontinuing the Personal Plan in the new year, as well as re-evaluating some pricing. But for now, they’re still available.

To be honest, my original intention was just to stop offering databases all together. I never really offered them with the intention of making huge profits; rather, it was a unique service I could offer to my readers who were interested in investing in quality content. I never really realized how many of your saw Seocracy.com as a source for quality database content, and I was pretty surprised by the number of requests I’ve received to bring back the databases.

OK! So, up until tonight, Seocracy.com has been running on a custom piece of code I cobbled together over the course of a weekend. Naturally, it wasn’t the most stable or user friendly blog platform, so I have deicded to move over to Wordpress.
Of course, you guys may find that there are some design kinks, which I hope to work out over the coming weeks. That said, the migration to Wordpress is especially cool because it makes it easier for me to write new posts and publish content. I will soon start porting over old projects, code, scripts, and samples to The Lab section, so keep an eye out for that.

So, a few days ago, I’m laying on my friends sofa, smoking a cigarette and drinking a beer. This particular friend of mine is a master tailor (very handy guy to have around when you want to get your pants hemmed). Anyways, he had just recently given himself a nasty needle wound on his thumb, and him being the kind of guy that he his, he was trying to gross me out by shoving the disgusting bloody stump in my face and saying “go on, lick it, go on lick it!!”
Now, I’m not the kind of person to be deterred by a flesh wound, so when he shoved his nasty thumb in my face, I simply grabbed it and gave it a SQUEEZE. Little did I know that what was about to happen next would take two years of my life.
As I grabbed and squeezed, the tip of his thumb erupted in what can only be described as a fine mist of blood spray that spattered himself, the couch, and his Macbook. In all my years, I’ve never seen anything quite like it.
